Roger became a Catholic after a long period of searching. He grew up without the Church, but knew he couldn’t live without God. He tried replacing God with worldly things, but nothing satisfied him. Throughout his 20’s he did a good deal of searching and always encountered the Catholic Church. Roger did extensive reading on the history and teachings of the Catholic Church and became convinced that this was the path he needed to follow. After being baptized, he heard the call to serve and started the process of application to the seminary.
