Theological College
401 Michigan Avenue NE
Washington, DC 20017

Birthday: January 24

Home Parish: St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Charleston

Rhett is the youngest of three siblings. He attended public schools in his elementary and middle school years. Since academics and athletics have always been important to him and his family, his parents enrolled him in Bishop England High School. It was in high school that Rhett deepened in his faith. Rhett attended Furman University, and it was in his college years that he began to read about the early Church. From these readings, a fire grew in his heart and he began to consider the priesthood. After serving in the Peace Corps in El Salvador, Rhett returned to Charleston and helped establish the Drexel House while working for the Vocations Office. Through these experiences, Rhett was able to say “yes” to the Lord’s call. Rhett is committed to Christ, and desires to serve the Body of Christ with his whole heart.
