Francisco is the youngest of seven children and is a cradle Catholic. He grew up in a loving and supportive family. He first felt God’s call at age seven and through the examples of many priests in his life his journey led to the seminary. Francisco feels his experience at the seminary has helped him to learn about the faith and to grow in prayer. Despite any challenges he faces, he believes all things are possible with the help of God. Francisco has chosen the diocesan path to the priesthood because he wants to be able to serve the people in the Diocese of Charleston and feels this is what God has called him to do. His favorite saint is St.John Bosco because he dedicated his life to the betterment and education of disadvantaged youths.
